Are Fund CEOs on a collision course with staff over return to office?

Ignites Europe recently published an article titled 'Fund CEOs on collision course with staff over return to office'. They state that a growing number of asset management chief executives are interested in their teams returning to the office five days a week, which conflicts with their employees desires.

They sought expert opinions and comments on the subject, and Caroline Walker, the Managing Director and founder of Cavendish Employment Law, made numerous contributions:

Caroline Walker, managing director at Cavendish Employment Law, said: "Despite [CEOs'] desire to return to the pre-pandemic oce-based work, it may not be as easy to achieve.

"Strict office-based employment is likely to cause employees to become resentful, explore other options or take more sick leave, so it is unlikely to prove beneficial to the business in the long term."
