Cavendish employment law win age discrimination claim

We are pleased to announce that we have recently settled a case against a Magic Circle law firm in which a senior male employee was repeatedly asked to confirm when he planned to retire so they could put in place some succession planning. He was then forced to accept a retirement date when he was 67. Cavendish Employment Law successfully claimed this amounted to unlawful age discrimination and settled the case for £250,000 without even needing to issue proceedings.
